Play – an inquiry that we as architecture students seek to inspire and celebrate through design purity that is normally subject to real-world constraints. The emergence into a post-covid era seeks to have people from all walks of life engage in this melting pot of play - where our spaces can spark a conversation on how our surroundings can be gamified. Material purity while activating the inner children in all who approach adds a layer of challenge for us as we bring people together to celebrate play. Our pavilion poses the thesis that through suggestions & gamification - we can create a space that answers how people of all ages can be inspired to go beyond age boundaries to embrace
varying forms of physical activity as play.
The modules seek to defy their traditional purpose suggested by their current form to become a sum larger than its parts - creating meaningful spaces that suggest varying levels of physical play where individuals, couples or families can transform & bond over. Be it defying gravity, defying planar norms or structure - as students, we seek to go a
step further in exploring this aspect of play & to share our joy with the public.
